Not to mention Doc Palumbo for moderating.

Fantastic to see what other people are doing with their machines.

I was also pleasantly surprised by the number of “botters” in my area I had not had the chance to meet. Thesse things do create a great community of folk to steer work torward and a resource for troubleshooting and information localy.

First, I would like to thank Bill for allowing me to attend the camp even though I am not a Shopbot owner (Will be soon). After attending this camp I have no doubt that I will be getting a desktop Shopbot very soon. Besides being able to talk to Bill, Randy and Gabe, it was great meeting other owners as well. As a newby, I soaked up a ton of info. This camp was well worth my time and I am already looking forward to the next one. A big Thank You to our hosts Gabe and Mike.

Lots of good info – especially like the wooden tree portrait and the electric car with Shopbotted aluminum part, would have been nice to see a video of that process.

Hi Dirk – As Bill mentions, there are quite a few AtFAB CNC files that are ready to download from our site. And, sometime soon, we plan to expand our file library to include versions of these pieces we did at MakerBot’s HQ.
